CalSPEC Consortium Advisory Council

The Consortium Advisory Council (CAC) serves a valuable role to CalSPEC by providing input and advice regarding the development and future growth of CalSPEC. CAC members are nominated by CalSPEC leadership and appointed by the UC Office of the President's Provost based on their familiarity with the broad policy issues under consideration as well as relevant experience in the academic, policy, or political domains. The CAC advises the CalSPEC team about organizational structure, subject matter expert recruitment, research processes, and policy communication. The CAC also reviews each draft report to ensure they are clear, objective, accurate, relevant, and reproducible. The CAC also advises CalSPEC on best practices for dissemination. CAC members meet biennially and serve two-year appointment cycles.
