UC Center Sacramento Welcomes Former Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye as 2024 Governance Fellow

Sacramento, CA – The UC Center Sacramento (UCCS) is pleased to announce that former California Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye has been selected as its 2024 Governance Fellow.

Each year, UCCS appoints a prominent California public servant as its Governance Fellow. Prior Fellows have included former members of the legislature, officials elected or appointed to statewide office, justices of the state supreme court, and the chief clerk of the Assembly. Fellows normally alternate between Democratic and Republican party affiliation.

Public Lectureship and White Paper Competition, 2023-2024

UC Center Sacramento, a systemwide public policy education and research dissemination center located one block from the State Capitol, is pleased to announce the UCCS 2023-24 Public Lectureship and White Paper Competition. The purpose of the competition is to stimulate multidisciplinary evidence synthesis and creative problem solving related to one of two major policy themes:
