Sacramento, CA – The UC Center Sacramento (UCCS) is pleased to announce that Former California State Senator and State Assemblymember Fran Pavley will serve as its 2020 Governance Fellow.

Each year, UCCS appoints a prominent California public servant as its Governance Fellow. Prior Fellows have included former members of the legislature, officials elected to statewide office, and a justice of the state supreme court. “With the passage of AB32, the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006, Fran Pavley established herself as a giant in the annals of environmental legislative history,” said Richard Kravitz, Director of UC Center Sacramento. “She will be an inspiration to the UCCS students who have the privilege of connecting with her.”
