Jasmine Wong

STUDENT: Jasmine Wong
CAMPUS: UCLA
INTERNSHIP: California Department of Public Health
INTERNSHIP HIGHLIGHT: "Aside from working on a wonderful program that strives to increase health equity and outcomes, working alongside Registered Nurses and conducting informal informational interviews has been so edifying to my understanding of holistic patient care."
FUN FACT: "People assume I was named after the flower or Disney princess, but I was actually named after Jasmine rice. Also, at 19 years old, I have traveled to 36 countries!"
CAREER GOALS: "After completing my BSN and minor in Civic Engagement, I aspire to serve as an ICU RN and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Interning with the CDPH has equipped me with the skills necessary to provide preventative care and be a true advocate for my patients."
